COVID-19 has our world in a state of turmoil right now.
Information sharing is one of the most critical things we can do for everyone.
Village Council has been very proactive in making decisions that are in the best interest of the residents of Rockyford and will continue to do so to get everyone through this unprecedented time.
New restrictions were handed down by the Provincial Government Dec. 8, 2020. As a result of those restrictions, the Village office will be closed to the public effective Dec. 9, 2020. Staff will be in the office to take phone calls, so please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. (403) 533-3950.
Masks are mandatory in indoor spaces so please respect that when you go into our local businesses and be kind to the people that work in there. There are restrictions on the number of people that can be in a building at a time, please try to plan your shopping trips outside of peak hours and if you have to stand in line for a bit, be patient.
For full details on the restrictions check out the Your Alberta website.
Playgrounds remain open, please observe the public health recommendations and restrictions. The Village is not cleaning playground equipment, please ensure you are taking the appropriate measures to keep your children safe.
We will continue to post updates to our Facebook page and here on this page. Information is the key to keeping everyone safe and healthy.
Council meetings are held via video-conference and the link to those meetings will be posted on our Facebook page so you can attend if you so choose.
