COVID-19 has our world in a state of turmoil right now.

Information sharing is one of the most critical things we can do for everyone.

Village Council has been very proactive in making decisions that are in the best interest of the residents of Rockyford and will continue to do so to get everyone through this unprecedented time.

Utility bill (water, sewer, garbage) payments can be deferred for a period of three (3) months with no penalty or threat of being turned off.  This will apply to the bills that you receive in April, May and June.  After that period, a payment schedule can be arranged and the amount owing from those three months can be paid in equal payments over a six (6) month period.  We do ask that if you have had no interruption to your employment or income, that you pay your bills when due as this is operating revenue for the Village.

Contact WRC (Wheatland Regional Corporation) to let them know you need to defer payment.  Their number is (403) 325-9972, they are closed to the public, but are in the office to take calls.

The Village Office is closed to the public, but we are also here to take calls.  The drop box is available if you are making a payment.

The campground is open following all Public Health recommendations.  Call the office to reserve a spot and we will provide you with the details for making payment through e-transfer.  (403) 533-3950  The washrooms in the campground will remain closed as we don't have staffing to disinfect.

Playgrounds are now open.  Please ensure your children's hands are sanitized before and after play and wash hands thoroughly when you get home.  Maintain social distancing and don't share toys or equipment with anyone not in your family or cohort family.

Property tax deferral is possible for residents affected by COVID-19.  Payment may be deferred until Sept. 30, 2020 without penalty.  Call the office to make those arrangements.  ALL taxes must be paid in full by Dec. 31, 2020.

We will continue to post updates to our Facebook page and here on this page.  Information is the key to keeping everyone safe and healthy.

Council meetings will now be held via video-conference and the link to those meetings will be posted on our Facebook page so you can attend if you so choose.
